He was predeceased by: his friend Cynthia Vance. He is survived by: his children, Eric Montgomery of Detroit, Sherri Gibbs of Lapeer and Amber Kyle (Robert) of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Abby, Brooklyn, Austyn and Alexzander; and his brother Rodell Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue in Lapeer.
