Douglas Dean Owen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 81, Douglas Dean Owen of Lapeer, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Owen and Bernice Owen (Fuester); his wife Betty Lou Burgess; his son Douglas Owen; his granddaughter Sarina; and his siblings, Della Wilkinson, Grace Meyer, Doris Mahaffy, Shirley Miller and Duane Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Fincher (Tom), Donna Sierakowski of Lapeer and Donnie Whittkopf (Karen) of Metamora; and his grandchildren, Jason (Brooke), Natalie, Seth, Max, Megan (Dan), Shelly, Tina (Curt), Tammi (Matt) and Donald, Jr.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Covid restrictions have eased; however, those not vaccinated are asked to mask at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life in Christ Lutheran Church, North Branch.
