He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Dillon; his parents, Luther and Mollie; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Gibbs (Tom) of Lapeer and Mark Brodt of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Kyle Gibbs, Abbie Gibbs, Lucas Brodt and Nicole Brodt; his siblings, John Brodt (Marlene) and Connie Meyer; and his sister-in-law Nancy Dillon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (90 Millville Rd, Lapeer, MI 48446).
