It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D. Boots of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Attica, Michigan, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Boots and Verna Boots; and his brother Carl V. Boots. He is survived by: his fiancée Joanne Carow; his children, Tim Boots (Ann) of Lapeer, David McCusker (Gene) of Delaware, Kellie Boots (Karen) of Burton and Kristene Moses of Burton; his grandson Timothy J. Boots (Kaylie) of Lapeer; his great grandchildren, Kaiden Boots and Kloie Raymond; and his siblings, Virgil Boots (Carolyn), Robert Boots, Carel H. Boots (Joy) and Shirley Helder (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing will be in place with 25 people in the funeral home at a time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Boots family are appreciated.
