It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Marie Cowper of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard James and Lillian James; her husband George Cowper; and her brother Donald James. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Cowper (Debbie) of Lapeer, MI and Gail Tarala (Victor) of Sandy, OR; her grandchildren, Joy Rugenstein (Robert), Jason Seog, Holly Lange (Tim) and Heather Evans (Kenny); and her great grandchildren, Haley, Hayden Rugenstein, Nolan, Cooper, Addisyn Lange, Jeremiah and Arrianna Evans. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope United Church of Christ, 35127 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp.
