In loving memory of Darlene Norris of Lapeer, Michigan, who departed this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Darlene leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Riley and Nettie Riley (Cutler); her husband John Norris; her children, Joe Dunaway and Pamela DeMary (Ronald Joseph "Joe"); and her sisters, Loraine, Jessie "Sarah", Charlotte, Shirley and Diane.
She is survived by: her son Jesse Dunaway (Teresa); her daughter-in-law Dianna Dunaway; her grandchildren, Brian (Kristin), Chris, Darcy and Heidi (Chad); her great grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Aiden, Dylan, Lily, Jake, Jackson, Mason and Makenzie; her great great grandchild Dawson; and her brother Jesse "Sonny" Riley Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), in memory of Darlene.
