We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2023, at the age of 29, Cornell Michael Barnard of Lapeer, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Christian Decatur Barnard; and his grandparents, Michael Cheger, Judge Norman and Harriett Barnard. He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Barnard and Judge Laura Barnard; his brothers, Andrew Barnard (Olga) and Christopher Barnard (Jewell); his grandmother Dr. Jean Cheger; his nieces and nephews, Tristen Barnard, Anastasia Barnard, Jazlyn Lewis, Jayleigh Lewis and Jasper Lewis; his aunt Cheryl Timm (Larry); his uncles, Dave Cheger, Fred Barnard (Kit), Robert Barnard (Mary) and Richard Barnard (Cheryl); and his great-aunts, Babara Cheger and Lydia Francis (Gene).

Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
