He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Porter and Charles Porter; and his brother David Porter. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Pfeiffer (Burke), Deborah Craven (Mark) and John Porter (Christy); his grandchildren, Justen Pfeiffer, Adam Pfeiffer (Jamie), Nathan Craven, Rachel Mistretta (Mike), Lauren Porter and Alex Craven (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Ari, Logan, Luca and Charlie; his wife Carol Porter; and his sister Nancy Hornacek (Ken).

Memorial donations made to Lapeer County Animal Control by check would be very appreciated.
