We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 78, Charles H. Franckowiak of Lapeer, Michigan, born in South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet Franckowiak and Emily Franckowiak (Rodenbeck); and his wife Maggie Franckowiak. He is survived by: his children, Charles Franckowiak (Michele) of Naperville, Dr. Kenneth Franckowiak (Amy) of Metamora, Thomas Franckowiak of Clio and Elizabeth Ham (Douglas) of St. Augustine, Florida; his grandchildren, Kali, Ashley, Trey, Madeline, Henry, Emily, Kristen, Emmily, Rebecca, Doug III, Niklas, Koltyn, Izabelle, Aiden, Beau and Carson; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Yunas; his brother-in-law Robert Magnusen (Christy) of Belleville, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Cathy, Lori, Amy, Bob, Chris, Peter, Mike, Chelsea, Drew, Emilee and Molly.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mira Foundation USA, providing guide dogs for blind American children, also they provide seminars for families with blind children…including daily living skills and psychology of blindness.
