It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Brown of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Anderson and Leona Anderson (Clement); her sons, Kevin and Gerald Brown; and her husband Gary Brown.
She is survived by: her son Brian Brown of Lapeer; her grandsons, Ryan Smith and William Smith; her great grandchild Josh Jacot; her siblings, Diane Owen, Linda Swetta, Fred Anderson, Rick Anderson and Ken Anderson; her sister-in-law Kay Porter of Henderson, NC; and her close friend Nancy Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue in Lapeer.
