With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Belle Eckersley (Lapeer, Michigan), born in Fostoria, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kerr and Leola Kerr (Frederick); her husband Edwin Eckersley; and her son Tom Eckersley. She is survived by: her children, Sue Birkmeier (Ted) of Novi, Bruce Eckersley (Denise) of Lapeer and Rod Eckersley of Chicago; her daughter-in-law Pam Parent; her grandchildren, Kris, Tim, Teri, Michele, Tricia, Cara, Scott, Maureen, Jimmy, Aria and Chad; and her sister-in-law Wilma Koski. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
