She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Powell and Mary Powell (Scott); her husband Albert Thomas; her son James (JoAnn); and her siblings, Elmo Powell, Buck Powell, Wanda Kline, Ted Powell and Catherine Cullison.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Thomas (Patricia) of Virginia, Dennis Thomas (Denise) of Florida and Stephen Thomas (Cheryl) of Lapeer; her grandchildren, Darrin, Christina, Theresa, Bryan, Whitney, Chad and Chelsea; and her brother Stanley Powell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
