She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schlaud and Leona Schlaud (Swoish); her husband Jerry Houck; her son Kurt Houck; her son-in-law Robert Bernyk; and her brothers, Louis, Leo, Vincent, Bernard and Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Houck (Diane), Lorna Matthews (Dennis), Connie Kennedy (Eric), Cheryl Palazzolo (Carlo), Karen Bernyk, Paula Kovalick (John) and Allen Houck (Cheryl); and her niece Patt Gauss. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren: fifteen great grandchildren.
