She is survived by: her children, Joyce McCarthy (Stephen), Yolanda Thomas (Henry), Homero Ruiz, Jr. and Gabriel Ruiz (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Monica, Roselina, Madison, Homero III and Christopher. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
