He is survived by: his daughters, Aletha Alvera (Ernesto) and Lara Ruth Smith; his siblings, Dorothy Nye, Mary Ntia and Lyal Smith (Sylvia); his nieces, Nancy Spasic, Kimberly Reyes (Ernesto) and Jennifer Bennett (Randy); and his nephew Jeffery Nye (Nancy).
