He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Chaney and Louise Chaney (Ferrel); and his brother Bruce Chaney. He is survived by: his son Donavon Chaney (Sarah); his granddaughters, Makenzie and Emily Chaney; his close friend Carolyn Davis; and his siblings, Art Chaney (Cindy) and Nellie Marez (Jose).
