He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hewitt and Vera Hewitt; his wife Elaine (Cotant); his son-in-law Skip; and his great grandchild Aiden Hewitt.
He is survived by: his grandchild Euchre; and his children, Charlene Tompkins (Skip), Marilyn Murphy (Larry) and Douglas Hewitt. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephew.
