It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Akini of Lansing, Michigan, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Akini and Philomena Akini; and his son Robert LaClear. He is survived by: his children, Kari Akini (Jeremy Melson), Ken Akini (Jenny) and Pearl Alkini (Jamaar Karter); and his grandchildren, Zoey, Evalani of Rhys, CJ, Carter, Quincy, Hailey and Nicholas Jr..
