With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Strickland of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on May 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Wendell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Strickland and Helena Strickland (Jackson). He is survived by: his significant other Linda Coulter; his son Daryl Strickland (Teer); his grandsons, Aaron (Mariah Owens) and Justin; his great grandchild Nyomi; his brothers, Jimmy Beard and Kenneth Strickland; and his cousin Saundra Moton (Frank).
Arrangements for Mr. Strickland are as follows: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to City Rescue Mission of Lansing or Greater Lansing Food Bank.
