He is survived by: his children, Marlon Wardell Beard of Lansing, Michigan and Crystal Blair of Memphis, Tennessee; his grandchildren, ShaKaria, William, DeAndra, Demar, Keora, Marlon, Jr., Shaquille, MaKayla, Mariah (Phillip Moore, Jr.), Ta'Naysha, Diamond, MacKenzie and Genesis; and his siblings, Theola Benson, Gladys Beard, Herman Beard, Jr. (Ann), Cecilia Beard, Sandra Torry, Hollis Beard, Ward Beard, Annette McGhee and Jennifer Patterson (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
