She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Merithew and Lura Merithew (Moss); her husband Jake; her son-in-law David Kares; and her siblings, Robert Merithew and Wilma Dulek.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Mary), Ronald (Margaret), Patricia Kares and Royce (Dana); her grandchildren, Erin Vargo (Mike), Elyce Babcock (Brian) and Rachel Martin (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Colin, Everly and Wyatt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
