It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ruth Barrix (Lansing, Michigan), who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Kimball and Iva Kimball (Butler). She is survived by: her husband Hugh E. Barrix; her children, Sherry Tennis (Steve) of Hudson, MI, Jim Barrix (Lynn) of Mooresville, NC and Lisa Lyons (Ben) of Eaton Rapids, MI; and her grandchildren, Samantha Peterson (Erik), Tyler Barrix, Mitchell Hall and Stephen Tennis. She is also survived by mother and grandmother; she cherished her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Virginia.
