He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Davis and Laura Ella Davis; and his brothers, Don and Gene Davis. He is survived by: his wife Karen Davis; his children, Joe Davis (Caroline), Jen Pawlowski (Justin) and Jami Baran (Michael); his grandsons, Anthony and Alexander; his siblings, Janice Lloyd (Andrew), Benjamin Davis (Tammy), Rick Davis and Greg Davis; his stepbrother Dallas Davis (Vicki); and his sister-in-law Patti Davis.
