He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Colon; his brother Micheal Horton; and his aunt Sue Lavoy. He is survived by: his father Tomas Ruiz; his wife Jeanette Ruiz of Lansing; his children, Bandito, Michelle Hawkins-Ruiz of Lansing, Amanda Cheeney (Justin) of Lansing and Amber Craft (Douglas) of Lansing; his siblings, Maria Vanwhy (Richard) of Lansing and Fernando Gonzalez (Lisa) of Texas; his grandchildren, Arya, Kara, Shyloah, Jeremiah, Cayden and Shayne; and his great grandchild Kaleah. He is also survived by several nieces; one nephew; and many dear friends.
