He is survived by: his sons, Carlos Manuel (Jennifer) and Tom A. Manuel, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tommie M. Manuel, Maxwell G. Carr, D'Carlo C. Manuel, A'Lari Q. Manuel and A'Chonye N. Manuel; and his siblings, Daisy Pate, Deloris Jame, Mildren Nettles, Jasper Manuel and Jame Manuel, Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
