He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kurkowski and Jennie Kurkowski (Garska); and his wife Adeline. He is survived by: his children, Susan Mahaffy (Dale), Thomas M. Kurkowski (Christine), James Kurkowski (Stacey), Gail Gillengerten and John Kurkowski (Amy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (801 N Bridge St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dewitt Cemetery (801 N Bridge St, DeWitt, MI 48820).
