He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dalton and Sarah Dalton (Black); his brother Jack Dalton; his brother-in-law Jeff Ashley; and his parents-in-law, Dean and Martha Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Michael Dalton (Sarah) and Katie Thomas (Patrick); his sister Patricia Ashley; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Dalton, Susan Delp (Ron) and Sheila Darnell; and his grandchildren, Cole, Carter, Caleb, Nora and Ellie.
