He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald D. Griffin and Helen M. Griffin; his wife Kimm Griffin; and his brother-in-law James Spalding. He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Drent (Ronald), Jon-Tomas Griffin and Jessica Griffin; his grandson Aidan Drent; and his sister Janet Griffin.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel (3232 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48917).
