He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brooks and Beatrice Brooks (Bass); his son Thomas Charles Brooks; his granddaughter Veronica Olney; his sister Joann; and his stepmother Harriet Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Marge Brooks; his daughter Tammy Olney (Rob); and his stepchildren, Richard Slaght, Margaret Gonzalez and Keith Slaght (Kim). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
