It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Lauderdale (Lansing, Michigan), born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Pete, Sr. and Naddie Pete (Coward); and her brother-in-law Larry Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Tryston and JaWaun Lauderdale; her stepsons, Turner Ashe and Shaun Clayton; her siblings, Glenda Dent (Blonnie) of Beaumont, Delores Brown of Katy, Dudley Pete, Jr. (Sandra) of Lansing, Neddie Pitre of Lansing and Timothy Pete; her godmother Shirley Ann Pete of Houston, Texas; her godchildren, Tiana Pete and Michael Pete, Jr.; and her close friends, Gladys Woodard, Sharon Morris and Temekia Gibb. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
