He was predeceased by : his children, Mariah Bogard and William Deitz; and his sister Suzette Allen. He is survived by : his daughters, Rachelle Rodriguez (Joseph) and Kristina Deitz (J. R. Meddaugh); his grandchildren, Tristian Howard (Brittany), Ethan Deitz, Rozlynn Howard, Dominick Davis, Drew Hubble, Daniel Hubble, Alexandria Patton, James Deitz and Jonathon Deitz; his great grandchild Mylah Howard; his siblings, Gordon Deitz (Peggy), Nancy Deitz (Brenda Stoneburner) and Diana Rochowiak (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Dan Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel (2121 N Cedar St, Holt, MI 48842).

Memorial donations may be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
