He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wood and Donna Wood (Nevins). He is survived by: his siblings, Lawrence "Larry" Wood, Kathy Ward (Randy), Kim Keith (Larry), Kelly Donaldson (Jeff), Steve Wood (Tricia), Doug Wood (Beth) and Richard "Rich" Wood (Jamie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
