He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Wills and Marjorie Wills (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Eric (Jen), Brian (Jim Forsyth), Scott (Lisa) and Jeff (Jean); his grandchildren, Eric Jr. (Megan), Paul, Lauren, Casey, Melissa and David; and his great grandchildren, Emerson and Luca. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer Association, American Diabetes Association or the Capital Area Humane Society.
