It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry F. (Gordon) Wessels of Lansing, Michigan, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert "Keith" and Shirley Gordon (Olson); her siblings, Sandra Simmons (Dennis) and Kevin Gordon; and her great-nephew Aaron Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Wessels (Jan) of Bad Axe, MI, Scott Wessels (Mindy) of Bentonville, AR and Jodi Hedger (Ron Devree) of Portland, MI; her grandchildren, Cody Wessels (Molly), Taryn Wessels, Cameron Wessels, Kadyn Wessels, Avery Wessels, Tyler Hower and Ashton Hower; her great grandchildren, Tate Wessels and Tanner Wessels; her stepmother Doris Gordon of Grand Rapids, MI; and her sister-in-law Karin Gordon of Waterman, IL. She is also survived by friends and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Church in memory of Sherry.
