Shawn Michael Ogden Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Michael Ogden, a beloved son, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on February 23, 2025. Born on December 5, 1972, Shawn lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family.

Shawn spent his career in IT, where his sharp mind and problem-solving skills made a lasting impact. But beyond his work, he found true joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing on quiet mornings, camping under the stars, playing his many instruments, and gathering around the table for a game of Dungeons & Dragons with his lifelong friends. His love for his grandchildren knew no bounds; they were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Those who knew Shawn will forever remember his kind and caring spirit, his infectious laughter that could brighten any room, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him. His legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Shawn is survived by his loving parents, Pamela and Robert Ogden; his sons, Zachary Ogden (Hannah Ogden) and Brandon Ermer; and his cherished grandchildren, Alice, Grayson, and Jackson. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason R. Ogden; his grandfather, Frank Dufon; and his grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Ogden.

A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.

Though he is no longer with us, Shawn’s love, laughter, and music will echo in our hearts forever.
