He was predeceased by: his father Dennis R. Bengry; his grandparents, Louis, Esther Bedenbender, George and Neva Bengry; and his aunt Nancy Schrauben.
He is survived by: his sister Jodi Lynn Speck; his close friend Mary Franks; and his aunts and uncles, Pat Leik (Francis), Jan Maxwell, Sue Arendsen, Jack Bedenbender (Nancy), Debi Bedenbender, Shelly Kemp (Steve), Gary Schrauben, Jerry Bengry (Sue) and Karole Modeen.
Memorial contributions may be made in Shawn's honor to Capital Area Humane Society, the City Rescue Mission, or a charity of your choice.
