She was predeceased by: her parents, Earline Hobbs and Foster Hobbs; her sister Julia Campbell; and her former husband David Purnell. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Allen (Robert), David Hobbs, Lady Patricia Castro (Roy), Winfery Hobbs (Terry Feasel), Cartena Duncan (Greg), Joe Hobbs (Tammy), Michael Hobbs (Kim) and Nakiswa Purnell; and her grandchildren, Aleatha, Tanieka, Lamiah, Carshonda, Parisenne, TeAnna, Tiare, Mikial, Anas, Ameena and Maryum. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and several great, great-grandchildren.
