He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thocker and Margaret Thocker; his wife Diana Thocker; and his siblings, Phyllis, Carol and Edward Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Ron Haeck, Ronda Schiebrel, Matthew Schiebrel, James Schiebrel and Nicole Schiebrel; and his brother Robert Thocker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
