He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Cummings (James), Edward Brackins (Shirley), Anthony Brackins (Milaflor) and Albert Brackins; his wife Sandra Kay Brackins; his sons, Rodney Brackins Jr. of Flint, Ronnie Brackins (Jessica) of Orlando and Justin Moore of Lansing, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Maliyah Mo'ney, Onalee Bell, Layla Brackins, Justin Moore, Justice Moore and Kyrie Moore. He is also survived by nine nieces; six nephews; and a host of family and friends.
