With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Henning in Lansing, Michigan, born in Dewitt, Michigan, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Henning and Gilberta Henning (Goodrich); his brother-in-law Keith Higbie; his sister Betty Taylor; and his granddaughter Allison McNeeley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Kevin Henning (Marcie Anderson) and Deborah McNeeley (James); his grandchildren, Alexander McNeeley, Paige Henning, Karly Henning and Zachary McNeeley; and his siblings, Donovan Henning, Joann Higbie and Jill Albert. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to South Riley Bible Church.
