With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard P. Thelen of Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Thelen and Rose M. Thelen (Halfmann); his wife Joanne; his former wife Esther Rojeski; his siblings, Carl and Lorraine Quinlan; his son Larry; his children-in-law, Ella Thelen and Alan Ketchum; his granddaughter Christy Thelen; and his great grandchild Austin Thelen.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Debra), David (Pam), Barbara Ketchum, Cathy Moore (Randy) and Karen Corby (Michael); and his sister-in-law Roberta O'Connor. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
