He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Dorthy Lee; his sisters, Gloria Lee-Horton, Betty Ann Ross and Debra Williams; and his nieces, Lisa Horton and Angel Vick.
He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Lee, Jr. of Lansing, Kevin D. Lee of Orlando, Florida and Nanette Lee of Lansing, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jordan Lee, Faith Victoria Lee, Ashae Lee, Junior Patterson, Amir Filley and Jasper Lee; his siblings, Catherine Jones (Derrick) of Costa Mesa, California, William Lee, Jr. (Janice) and Larry Lee (Hattie) of Lansing, Michigan; his former wives, Carolyn Lee and Shirley Crutcher (John); and his aunts, Barbara House of Maryland and Betty Case of Maryland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
