He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Michaels and Jeanette Michaels (Shannon); his wife Rita Marie Vargo; and his children, Rebecca Anne Michaels, Jessica Marie Michaels Johnson (Dan), Helene Marie Burkhardt (Tom), Ray Luke Michaels (Sarah) and Therese Marie Weimer (Rick). He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren.
