With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Brown of Lansing, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Gladys; his son Timothy; his brother-in-law Dave Karl; and his niece Mary Monica Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Brown; his children, Margo Brown, Jennifer Brown, Paul Brown (Christy) and Patrick Brown (Jen); his grandchildren, Grace, Gabriel, Andrew, Ava, Peter, Emmett, Liam, Sophia and Penelope; and his sister Wilma Karl.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2600 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910).
