She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Fisher and Lee Moultrie; her husband David A. Welch Sr.; her close friend Adam Washington; and her children, David A. Welch Jr., Napoleon Welch and Eartha Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Welch and Ruby Bogan (Greg); and her grandchildren, Kamari Welch, Jenell Bogan, Lamar Demoss of Texas, Danielle Welch, Leonard Welch (Julia) of Georgia and Gretchen Bogan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Riley Funeral Home (426 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48933). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (2912 Pleasant Grove Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (2600 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing, MI 48910).
