He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Mitchell and Angelita Mitchell of Lansing, Michigan.; his grandson Jaxson Dean; and his brother Eddie Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Tina Mitchell (Brewer); his children, Paul Mitchell II (Katie) and Shina Cagle (Bryan); his grandchildren, Chase Kitchens-Mitchell, Jarrod Mitchell, Summer Mitchell, Evangelina Mitchell, Braxton Dean, Madison Cagle, Landen Platt and Bennett Bonomo; his sisters, Jeannie Myers (Tom) and Anna Mitchell; his aunt Carmen Enriquez (Joe); and his uncle Norman Mitchell (Joyce).
