He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kennedy and Illene Kennedy; and his sister Brenda. He is survived by: his wife Detra (DeeDee); his son Michael; his grandchildren, Brooke, Karina, Jana, Jena, Colton, Wyatt DeLaughter and Emma Kennedy; and his siblings, Gail Burke, Michelle Soderberg and Richard Avis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
