She was predeceased by : her husbands, Doug Jacobs and Richard Tweddle; her grandson Tyler Johnson; and her siblings, Velma Parker, Betty Shaw, Barbara Roop, William Houghton and Milo Houghton.

She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey Tweddle (Lugina) of Lansing, MI, Chris Sorcic (Richard) of Mims, FL, Kate Lintner (Don) of Lansing, MI and Lyn McMaster (David) of Lansing, MI; her brother Earl Houghton Jr. of Traverse City; and her friend Bonnie Westlund. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel (3232 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Gunnisonville Cemetery (2000 E Clark Rd, Lansing, MI 48906).
