He is survived by: his children, Emilia DeRose (Gatto), Octavius DeRose, Sr., Pierina Hunter (DeRose) and Devina Bitoni (DeRose); his wife Joan DeRose (Lamirand); his son-in-law John Scott; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Anthony and Donna Scott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
