He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Wells and Helen Wells (Hayes); his wife Sonja Wells (Woolley); his son Edward Wells; and his siblings, Nathan Wells Jr. (Joan), Harry Wells (Donna), Franklin Wells, Charles Wells, Barbara Shaw, Dorothy Schieberl (Kenneth) and Lucile Alford (Jerry).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Wells (Teresa) of Coldwater, Karen Coady (Greg) of Lansing and Todd Wells of Mason; his sister Bertha Smith (Ron); his sisters-in-law, Elaine Wells and Jean Michael; and his grandchildren, Emily, Ethan and Emmett Wells. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
